Explore The Wonderful World of Red Worms! Hosted by Enrecos Inc.
Explore the environment that red worms live and work in. These worms recycle organic material by eating your junk mail or food scraps, turning the waste into rich soil amendment that helps create beautiful plants and gardens.

Arts and Crafts
Sunflower Splendor – students will learn and be able to retell information about the life cycle of a sunflower, the many uses of the sunflower seed, and the role of the sunflower in nature. Each child will plant a sunflower seed to cultivate at home.
Every Birdie Welcome – students will learn about attracting and feeding wild birds and the role birds play in the environment. They will create their own bird feeder that can be hung in a garden or yard.

Backyard Bees: Keeping Hives Alive!
The Backyard Bees ladies are busy as bees! Hear how two local women began rescuing honeybees from chemical extermination while creating a sustainable bee rescue and honey business. Children will learn all about:

• Beekeeping basics
• Fascinating honey facts
